Missions Committee Contact: Donna Weatherly

We are all called to Show God's love and Tell His story.
What are you doing for Him today?
"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”  Acts 1:8

-  Pray - Give - Go -

First Street Community  Church gives 12%

We focus on different areas of missions throughout the year.

Special offerrings are received for these areas:
     March - North American Missions
June - Local missions and outreach
     September - California State Missions
     December - International Missions

Beyond our normal tithes and offerings:

In June 2019 we used baby bottles to contribute to Sierra Preganancy & Health.  Local ministries (Grace City Center, Teen Challenge Local Center, Muslim Outreach, Home at Last, and Encounter Ranch) were given gifts from existing  Local Missions Funds and additional contributions.    Local Missions also supports community outreach such as the July 4th Block Party and Fun After School Time for Kids.

In March 2020 we gave $1627 to the North American Missions Offering.

In December 2019 we gave  $2477 to the International Missions Offering, and provided Christmas gifts to 57 individuals.

In November 2019 we sent 35 boxes for Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child.

In September 2019 we gave $1705 to the California Missions Offering

Thank you for your generous support of missions!
